A sleepy town overlooking the Twyi Estuary.
As its name suggests, a ferry ran from here for hundreds of years, taking people across the beautiful stretches of the Tywi Estuary to Llansteffan.
During the 19th Century, the main occupations for the locals were the harvesting of cockles, and fishing. With its picturesque estuary, inhabited by Herons and waders, it is a popular visitor destination.
