A busy, historic town giving easy access to Brecon, Hay on Wye, Abergavenny and Blaenafon. The town is dominated by a table mountain, from which the town takes its name, Crug Hywel; The Crag or Cliff of Hywel.

There are some excellent shops here, offering those products that are just a little different from the ‘run off the mill’.
Crickhowell is an ideal base for hill walking and other adventures such as: pony trecking, canoeing, fishing, golf and much more.
