Haverfordwest (Hwlffordd) is the county town of Pembrokeshire.

About Haverfordwest
The obligatory Norman castle overlooks this busy West Wales town, through which the River Cleddau flows down to the Milford Haven Estuary.
In the 12th century, Flemish weavers settled in the area.
There are numerous independent shops, as well as chain stores, occupying the town including a privately owned department store - Ocky White's, making Haverfordwest a very pleasant stop for shopping.
With a wide choice of restaurants, cafes, pubs and hotels, this is an ideal centre for touring the far South West of Wales.
Nearest towns: Carmarthen, Tenby, Pembroke Dock, Milford Haven, St. David’s, Fishguard, Cardigan.
Withybush Airfield lies just north of the town on the A40 Fishguard Road
