Castaway Survival Weekends

The course will be run by Nick Gough, a bushcraft and survival expert, who back in July 2009 spent a week on the Island battling the elements living off rabbits , fish and edible plants.

The island is open to visitors from April to October. Details can be obtained via the office.

Sailings depart from the Channel View Leisure Centre on the River Taff CF11 7HB and exit into the Bristol Channel via the Cardiff Bay Barrage Locks.

2010 Prices: Adults £16.50, Children £8.00 (4-17 years), Family Ticket (2 Adults 2 Children) £41.50

Free parking is also available at the departure point, Channel View Leisure Centre.
